Privacy and data protection
Privacy Policy
Effective August 18, 2026
Oops, I Lift! is a private fitness and nutrition planning app operated by Angela Rocha DBA Oops, Organized! This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information you choose to provide
- Account information, including your email address and account identifier.
- Fitness-plan information, such as age, height, weight, goals, training experience, available equipment, schedule, focus areas, food preferences, and activity level.
- Workout, nutrition, and progress records, including exercises, sets, repetitions, meal and food logs, serving quantities, nutrition totals, hydration, measurements, recovery check-ins, and progress notes.
- Progress photos you choose to upload. These are stored in private, account-linked storage and are not displayed in a public gallery.
- Support communications when you contact us for help, privacy questions, or account deletion.
Optional device and service data
If you choose to connect Apple Health or another supported fitness source, the app may read only the categories you authorize, such as steps, active-energy estimates, workouts or exercise duration, sleep duration, and resting heart rate. Connecting a health source is optional, and permissions can be changed in your device settings.
When you use food search, your search terms are sent through the authenticated Oops, I Lift! food-lookup service to USDA FoodData Central. When you scan a barcode, the camera reads the barcode and the app sends the barcode number—not a saved barcode photo—to look for matching nutrition information.
How information is used
Information is used to create and update your plan, save your history, calculate the guidance you request, show trends, sync your account, operate app features, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and respond to support or privacy requests.
Sharing and selling information
We do not sell personal, health, fitness, food-log, or progress-photo information. We do not use this information for targeted advertising, and the app does not include a public fitness feed.
Service providers may process information only as needed to operate the app—for example, account authentication, private storage, hosting, food lookup, and device health integrations. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the service.
Retention, security, and deletion
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information is kept while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your account and associated app data from the Account screen. You may also visit the account deletion page or email oopsorganized@gmail.com.
Adults and health guidance
Oops, I Lift! Core V1 is designed for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Workout, nutrition, supplement, and recovery information is educational and does not diagnose a condition or replace individualized medical care.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements materially change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to oopsorganized@gmail.com.
